The word ‘Yoga’ means ‘union’ or to ‘unite'.
In Brief - Yoga is an ancient practice, which is said to be over 5,000 years old, 10,000 according to some researchers’ say’s YB Yoga Basics. Developed in Northern India, modern Yoga has been spreading in the West since the 1800’s.
I am still finding my own way into my own practice, so let me be your guide. (As Ali McGraw once said)
Yoga is a way of being, with many of those practicing it feeling that they belong to a community. Living in a peaceful, friendly and supportive way is the Yogic way. "Namaste my friend".
